JB Heater’s Manifold Tubular Heating Elements are designed to provide an economical, robust, and versatile heat source, commonly utilized in hot runner molding systems. These elements are engineered to fit into milled grooves, ensuring optimal heat transfer to the working surface. Our skilled fabricators and specialized bending equipment enable us to create complex shapes tailored to specific applications.

Construction

The heating element features helically wound high-temperature resistant NiCr wire, which is insulated with high-grade Magnesium Oxide Powder. This design allows the heaters to be swaged and annealed at high sheath temperatures, resulting in excellent electrical insulation and a high heat transfer rate.

Precision Forming

To ensure a proper fit within the mold grooves, precise forming of the heater is essential. We utilize templates during the forming process to guarantee accuracy. Customers can either provide their own templates or have JB Heater manufacture them according to specific designs.

Available Sizes

Our Manifold Tubular Heating Elements are available in:

• Round Diameters: 6.5 mm, 8 mm, and 8.5 mm
• Square Diameters: 6 mm x 6 mm and 8 mm x 8 mm

Additionally, we can custom manufacture other diameters based on customer specifications and drawings.
